This is some of the crazy stuff I've ran into in all the years I've been working on cars. I should have more pictures which I'll post up as I find them. But for now, enjoy!
This little D16 was driven without coolant at highway speeds for about a half hour before it finally seized. Mind you, the engine didn't look like this before the incident...

The hub on this knuckle came off without a fight (they're normally pressed on).

Another victim of the Sawzall, this time a nice Civic hatch.
A worn-down friction disc, a broken pressure plate, and a disintegrated throwout bearing, all at once.
This car was a complete POS. A torn rear crossmember caused the extreme wheel toe-out/camber situation.

I got this 92-93 Accord lip for free! Hopefully nobody got hurt.
The ignition rotor on my wagon completely melted off the distributor shaft (probably due to an overheated bearing). Good thing I had a spare distributor handy!
Don't forget anything in the intake ports, like I did! These shop towels jammed the valves open and the engine lost all compression.
This was my cousin's turbocharged '85 CRX Si. I won't get into details, but essentially he hit a few parked cars on a side street at about 70 mph. He suffered a broken leg, among other injuries. Nobody else was hurt.
