This is where I address some of the questions I get asked on a regular basis.
This is a pet project for me. It helps me learn basic HTML skills, but it also reminds me of some of the websites I used to love as a wee lad in the late 90's. I've based this site on a lot of the awesome stuff that was hosted on Angelfire, GeoCities, and the like.

While there was a time when doing engine swaps was my full time job, that is no longer the case. I now have to tend to a wife and kids, aside from working a regular 9-5 (and sometimes a 5-9 right after). I just don't have any more time for working on other people's cars.
I am not a mechanic, nor did I ever consider myself a mechanic. I simply enjoyed the technical challenge that came with doing engine swaps and other major conversions/swaps on cars. It just so happened that a lot of my friends/family liked what I was doing to my own cars and wanted the same for their own. Consequently, I was able to tear their cars apart and learn from them, as well. As of this writing (Nov. 2025), I have north of 100 different swaps under my belt.
Currently, I work as a locksmith for a very large school district.
With the exception of the ricer mentality of my mid-teens, I've always enjoyed building cars that subscribed to the "OEM +" philosophy. From swapping in engines that were more or less "meant" to be there, wheels that are no more than a +1" or +2" size upgrade over stock, and suspensions that are not excessively lowered or lifted, I feel that it's best to build a car in a way that does not sacrifice function for form. I also like building cars to suit my own tastes, not to impress people I don't know.
The cars I build have to be dead nuts reliable, reasonably fuel efficient, be fun to drive, and not be a general pain in the ass to live with. I also like keeping things at least somewhat period-correct for the car I'm building. And I do like to keep costs down without cutting corners on a build, so no fancy high-dollar parts (I'm not rich).
